The Varsity softball team returned to action on Tuesday afternoon as they hit the road to take on the Broughton Capitals.
After putting 25 runs on the board, last week, Broughton was tougher test for the Lady Trojans who still came out on top by a 5-0 final score.
Maddy Stewart went 3-4 in the win over the Caps. Garner is now 2-1 on the season and they return to action tomorrow night when they travel to Cary for a 6:30 showdown with the Imps.
The JV game will precede the Varsity game at 4:30.
