Following a their first loss of the season last week, Coach Lee and the JV Trojans bounced back tonight with a 28-14 road victory over Middle Creek.
Garner (2-1) scored all 28 points in the first half as Julius Barnes and Rae Britton scored a pair of touchdowns for the Trojans and Tyreec Taylor also scored a touchdowns for Garner.
Middle Creek, who trailed by 21 points at the break score late in the fourth quarter to pull to within 14, but could not pull any closer as the Trojans picked up the victory.
Garner returns to Trojan Stadium next Thursday night when they open Greater Neuse River play against the Clayton Comets. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00.
