Garner Magnet High School will hold their 2nd Annual Homecoming Food Drive supporting Community of Hope Ministries during Homecoming Week September 9th - September 23rd.
STUDENTS: Items will be counted and the points for each class will be awarded first, second, third and fourth place AND included as a part of the annual Homecoming Week spirit competition. The winner will be announced during the Homecoming Pep Rally on Friday, September 23rd.
All fans who donate at least three items will receive $1 off admission to the September 23rd Homecoming Game against East Wake AND a coupon for a free item at Chick-Fil-A. Suggested items are: peanut butter, pasta, rice, all-in-one meals like Hamburger Helper, canned fruit, canned vegetables, soup, cereal, pancake mix, syrup, grits, oatmeal, canned meat, spaghetti/pasta sauce and macaroni and cheese
The Community of Hope Ministries Food Pantry gave out over 80,000 meals in 2010 and has already surpassed that number in 2011. Help Community of Hope Ministries fight hunger in the Greater Garner area. Check us out at http://www.
