Trojan Baseball Splits with West Johnston

The Varsity Trojan Baseball team faces West Johnston for the second day in a row and after a 14-0 win the night before, Garner could not find their offense as they fall to the Wildcats 2-0 on the road. The Trojans can muster just three hits off the Wildcat starter as Matt Powell allows just two runs and gets the tough luck loss for the Trojans who fall to 9-9 overall and 5-4 in the Confernece.


JV Trojans Come From Behind in Crazy Fashion

The JV game between Garner and West Johnston began in the third inning as they pick up the game from where it was suspended earlier in the year with the Trojans down 3-0. Things didn't get any better for the Trojans as they were down 12-2 going to the top of the 5th. That's when the magic happened. Garner scored 10 runs in the 5th to tie the game at 12.

West Johnston would come back to take a 16-12 lead but the Trojans showed some fight as they came from beind in the top of the 7th to defeated the Wildcats 20-16. That's right Trojan Fans, don't adjust your computer screen, the final was 20-16. The wins move the JV Trojans to 10-3-2 on the season.
