In the middle game of a three game week for the varsity volleyball squad, they made short work of Harnett Central earning a three games to none victory on Wednesday night in a match that a make up for a contest which was rained out earlier in the season.
Garner (15-3, 11-0) blasted Central in all three games of the match winning 25-4 in the opening game followed by a 25-7 win and finally truncating the match with a 25-9 thumping of Central.
After knocking home 30 kills last night, the lady Trojans had 37 kills in the road victory on Wednesday. Once again, Kristen Powell paced Garner with 11 kills followed by eight from Ka'asha Jefferies. Additionally, Kelsey Bryan added six kills and Sarah Pierce hammed five kills. Madison Stewart and Courtney Weathersbee had four and three respectively.
Weathersbee also added five service aces, Powell added four and Elena Mast chipped in three aces for the Lady Trojans.
Garner returns to the hardwood tomorrow night at 5:30 when they travel to Knightdale.
