Facing its third match of the week, Garner once again made short work of its opponent downing Knightdale three games to none to lock up the lady Trojans fourth straight Greater Neuse River Conference Championship.
Garner (16-3, 12-0) took the opening game of the match 25-12 followed by a 25-7 thumping in the second game before the match ended with a 25-17 victory for the lady Trojans.
Once again, Garner was able to smack 30 plus kills on the match, finishing with 35 on the night paced by 15 from Kristen Powell. Kelsey Bryan added eight while Courtney Weathersbee added four.
Additionally, the lady Trojans finished the match with 18 aces led by 11 from Powell. Elena Mast and Bryan both chipped in a pair of aces as did Weathersbee.
The victory is the fourth consecutive regular season championship. Garner will hit the road on Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 when they take on Southeast Raleigh.
