Congratulations to Coach Stephens and the Varsity Trojan Cheerleaders, winners of the NCHSSA 4A Cheerleading Championship!!
The girls competed at the Joel Coliseum in Winston-Salem on Saturday, Jan. 26th and brought home the title.
Team members are: Kristina House, Brittany Castles, Stephanie Tremont, Paige Thompson, Amy Walters, Katherine Stephens, Carly Bohnenblusch, Vitalia Williams, Bailey Walters, Dasia Robinson, Kayla Barefoot, Lauren Otto, Meredith Lindsay, Coach Helen Stephens, Suzanne Jordan, Taylor Bailey
The state championship is Garner's second cheerleading title, with their 1993 Championship. It is the 5th team NC championship for Garner, joining the 1978 Boys 4A Baseball title, 1978 Girls 4A Basketball title and the 1987 4A Football championship. Congratulations to Coach Stephens and her team!!
