Garner hit the road on Monday night as they traveled to Benson to take on the West Johnston WIldcats. After going 1-0-1 last week, the Trojans were hoping to contiune their hot play.
West Johnston took a 1-0 lead in the first part of the opening half, however, Garner would quickly tie the game on a Matt Wescoe free kick from 30 yards out, and the two teams would go to halftime tied at one.
The second half would be a lot of defense, and the game was headed to overtime with the game still tied at one. West Johnston exploded in overtime as they pulled away to defeat Garner 4-1. The Trojans are back in action on Wednesday
