After falling to West Johnston 5-0 on Wednesday night, the Varsity Softball team needed a bounce back game and they got just that as they traveled to Clayton on Friday night.
The Lady Trojans wasted no time getting to the Comets as they stuck for 5 runs in the opening frame and added 8 more in the second. Future Chowan star, Christie Wright went just two innings and seemed to get her confidence back before she was replaced by Breanne Campbell who went the final three innings giving up a run and just three hits.
When all was said and done, the Lady Trojans came away with the season sweep over Clayton winning the second meeting 19-1. As they improved to 14-2 on the season
