"Run for Habitat" 5K run/walk to benefit The Habitat for Humanity will be held March 29th at Greenfield Parkway. Funds raised from the $25 entry fee (before March 20th) assist the Habitat for Humanity of Wake County. Since 1985, the Habitat joined with individuals and local organizations to build simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with families living at modest income levels who cannot qualify for mortgages at market rates. Habitat for Humanity helps people build and buy their own homes. It works by creating opportunity, not dependency. Come out and enjoy this fun event for an excellent cause!!!
