The first annual Citzen Choice Awards selected by The Garner Citizen News & Times were revealed today and the list has a distinct GMHS feel to it:
The Lady Trojans blast the Spartans 58-30 to go to 17-1 on the season and 11-0 in the GNRC. Kesheria McNeil scored 23 points for the Lady Trojans:

The boys varsity stops a two game losing streak with an 86-47 win to move to 9-2 in the GNRC and 12-7 for the year. Stephone Drane explodes for 20 points, Tyrone Williams and Cordero Hunter added 12 and 11 respectively. The win is Coach Gray's 295th of his career:

The Lady Trojans roll to 15-1 and 9-0 in the GNRC with the 68-31 home win over the Clayton Lady Comets. Kanita Shephard posts 15 for the Trojans and Kesheria McNeil, back after a being out three games with an ankle injury scores 14. The Trojans are ranked 6th in the state this week:

Trojans run their win streak to six games and make it 8-0 in the GNRC with a 71-69 win at W. Johnston. Carl Redd hits four of five free throws in the final minute. The win, Coach Eddie Gray's 294th, sets up a huge week vs Clayton (7-1, 16-2) Tuesday and Knightdale (6-2, 12-5) next Friday:

Senior All-State linebacker Reggie Bowens has signed to play football in 2008 for the South Carolina Gamecocks. Bowens who demonstrated speed and power on defense and running back, will join former Trojan teammates Chris Culliver and Cedric Snead on Coach Steve Spurrier's SEC squad.
